About me

I was born in Bassano del Grappa, but it was in Montalcino that I found my true calling. After studying agriculture in Padua and completing an internship with Attilio Scienza, I arrived in Tuscany in 1987, planning to stay just a few months, but I never left. I had the privilege of working with extraordinary estates such as Soldera, Poggio Antico, and Ciacci Piccolomini d’Aragona. In 1995, was founded “La Fiorita,” and in 2016, I founded my own agricultural company Roberto Cipresso. I have worked alongside more than 50 Italian wineries and many others around the world. I created Winecircus and Winemaking, spaces dedicated to research and experimentation. Every wine I craft is a story, a way to express the identity of a territory with passion, respect, and authenticity.
