Description Description

This wine is the result of a selection of the best grapes from the best vintages of the Poggio al Sole vineyard, located at the foot of Sant’Angelo in Colle, at an altitude of about 250 meters above sea level, and covering just under one hectare. Its limited size allows for an almost obsessive attention to agronomic practices, enabling every operation to be carried out strictly by hand. The use of machinery is deliberately avoided, as it could alter or affect the natural structure and vitality of the soil. The vineyard was planted in 1998, with a density of 6,700 vines per hectare, and yields are around 1 kg of grapes per vine, approximately one bottle of wine per plant. The soil is fully grass-covered.
Limited production.
